Who provides the service

ReadEater at readeater.com is a speed-reading trainer: exercises, lessons, reading books with technique, progress tracking. The service is provided by Andrew Damian, MD.

Reach us through the contact form on the site or by writing to damian@readeater.com. We answer on working days.

What the subscription includes

The free plan costs nothing and stays free: the basic exercises, a daily practice allowance, progress tracking.

A paid subscription lifts the daily limits and opens the rest of the exercises, the lessons, the library and the reading tools. What exactly a plan contains is shown on the pricing page at the moment of purchase — that page is the description of the service.

We keep developing the service: exercises are added, some change or go away. A plan is never narrowed by this — anything removed is replaced.

Payment and renewal

A subscription is paid in advance for the chosen period. Payments are processed by payment platforms — lava.top и Whop; your card details are handled by them and never reach us.

The subscription renews automatically at the end of the period at the same price until you cancel it. You can cancel at any moment in Settings, under «Billing»: access stays until the paid period ends and nothing is charged again.

If the price changes, the new one applies from the next period only, and we tell you in advance.

Your account

An account is personal. Do not share access: the same account working from several places at once looks to us like a leaked password, and we may restrict it.

We may close access without a refund if an account is used to resell access, to download materials in bulk or to attack the service. In every other case we write first and sort it out.

The material on the site

The lesson texts, the exercises and the interface are ours. You may use them personally; publishing, reselling or teaching others with them is not allowed.

Books and articles you upload stay yours. We store them only so that you can read them here, and never show them to other users.

Liability

The service is a trainer, not a medical service and not a guarantee of a result. Reading speed grows with regular practice, and how much is up to you.

We try to keep the service running, but we cannot promise it will never stop: hosting fails and updates happen. If the service was down for a long stretch, write to us and we will sort it out individually — see the refund page.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. A new version applies from the date shown at the top of the page and is not retroactive: a period already paid for is governed by the terms in force when it was paid.
